Lips meeting metal
The rush of breath filling lungs
And the power of air overwhelming me
I play
Vibrations of the purest form
Against a taut silver mouthpiece
Hand pressed against nickel
The curve of her bell the most enticing vision
A sight of the most pure beauty
And I play her
Love her the way I could never love a man
She is my sweetest sin, my one passion
But I am wrong
It is never the right melody
Never will she and I create the perfect tone
They tell me I'm wrong
That this romance is one for the records
She and I can light up the night sky
Our sound is changing
And our love is being tested yet again
How long can I hold onto her?
